PUERTO MADRYN & PENÍNSULA VALDÉS, WHALES AND PENGUINS
The Valdes Peninsula World Heritage Site is a narrow strip of land just 35 miles long, with arid soil and the deepest salt in South America. These unique ecological characteristics make the area an ideal habitat for a wealth of marine life such as the Southern Right Whale, the Elephant Seal, the Marine Wolf, the Magellanic.
Day 1
Puerto Madryn, Patagonia

After arriving at Trelew you will be transferred to your hotel in Puerto Madryn (67kilometros). Take part in any of the activities the city has to offer, or we recommend visiting the waterfront and trying any of the local restaurants.
Day 2
Tour Península Valdés

After breakfast, begin the full day tour to Peninsula Valdes. From the quaint town of Puerto Piramide you can embark on a whale watching tour, after which you can make various stops at strategic points of the peninsula where you will observe sea lions, guanacos, penguins, orcas and other marine animals.
In the evening you will go back to the hotel.
Day 3
Punta Tombo, Patagonia

After breakfast, you will start the full day excursion to Punta Tombo.
Located south of Puerto Madryn, Punta Tombo has the largest colony of Magellanic penguins in South America, with over 200,000 breeding pairs between September and February raising their young in this reserve. Walk amongst the penguins before making brief visits to Trelew and Gaiman on the return to the hotel in the afternoon.

Puerto Madryn, Patagonia

Breakfast. Transfer to the airport.
