TERMS AND CONDITIONS

a) Booking: A booking is confirmed by Argentina On The Go once a deposit of 30% of the land services + 100% air tickets has been received. All flights included in the total price of the trip, both international and domestic, must be paid 100% in advance to secure availability.

b) Contract: The booking confirmation creates a binding contract between Argentina On The Go and the client and all persons named on the booking form, effective from the date the deposit is received.

c) Payment: The balance due must be paid in full one month before the commencement date of the trip. If the balance is unpaid, Argentina On The Go will consider the booking canceled by the client. If the commencement date of the trip is one month or less from the date of booking, then the total balance must be paid at the time of booking. All prices are quoted in US dollars and all payments must be made in US dollars or Euro equivalent based on the exchange rate at the time of booking.

a) Changes: If the client wishes to make a change to their booking, it must be done by the person who signed the booking form. Although Argentina On The Go will endeavor to do its best to accommodate changes and additions, no guarantee can be made of availabilities. All additional costs or charges incurred by Argentina On The Go as a result of the changes will be charged to the client.

b) Cancellation, effective upon receipt of written notification, are subject to the following penalties of the full trip price:

Days prior to departure from when the written notification is received. / Cancellation fee as a percentage of the purchased trip.

30% penalty + air tickets due at the time of confirmation
29 – 15 days prior to arrival: 50% penalty + air tickets
14 days or less prior to arrival: 100% penalty of the total trip

Cancellation policies applicable to special and/or specific products will be communicated at the time of confirmation:

*Any refund of canceled flight tickets will be subject to the policy of the airline.
*Any refund of canceled cruise ships will be subject to the policy of the Cruise Company
*Any refund of the amount paid for any special and/or specific product will always be subject to the corresponding conditions.
*Any refund for services on special dates, such as Festive Seasons and/or special events will
always be subject to specific conditions.

For groups of 10 or more passengers, special conditions will apply.

While Argentina On The Go will use its best endeavors to operate all tours as advertised, by entering into this contract the Client accepts that it may prove necessary or advisable to vary or modify a tour itinerary or its contents due to prevailing local conditions. Argentina On The Go reserves the right at any time to cancel or change any of the facilities, services or prices (including flights, accommodation or other arrangements) and to substitute alternative arrangements of comparable monetary value without compensation and accepts no liability for loss of enjoyment as a result of these changes. If a major change is known to us, the Client will be told at the time of the booking. If a major change becomes necessary after booking Argentina On The Go will inform the Clients as soon as reasonably possible. When a major change is made the Client will have the choice of accepting the change of arrangements, purchasing any other available tour or canceling the tour and obtaining a full refund. Provided that the major change is not because of force majeure.

Force Majeure Cancellations

For the purposes of these General Terms and Conditions, Force Majeure shall mean any unforeseeable, unavoidable circumstance beyond the control of the parties that totally or partially prevents the execution of the contracted trip.

The following situations shall be considered, by way of example but not limited to:

  • Serious illness, accident, or hospitalization of the passenger preventing travel, duly supported by a medical certificate.
  • Death of the passenger or immediate family members (parents, children, spouse/partner, or siblings).
  • Major natural disasters that affect travel operations (earthquakes, floods, large-scale fires, extreme weather events).
  • Armed conflicts, acts of terrorism, civil unrest, or serious security situations at the destination.
  • Government restrictions preventing travel, including border closures, entry bans, or mandatory health-related restrictions.
  • Pandemics or other global health emergencies affect the normal execution of the trip.

The following shall not be considered Force Majeure:

  • Personal decisions not to travel without an objective cause.
  • The passenger’s financial or economic difficulties.
  • Lack of documentation or visas due to reasons attributable to the client.
  • Undeclared pre-existing medical conditions.
  • Normal weather conditions at the destination.

Applicable Policy

In the event of a duly documented Force Majeure situation:

Priority Rescheduling
AOTG will prioritize rescheduling the contracted trip, offering the client the option to reschedule all services within a period of up to twelve (12) months from the original departure date.

Rescheduling Conditions
Rescheduling will be subject to:

  • supplier availability
  • fare conditions in force at the time of the change
  • possible price differences

Intermediary Role
AOTG acts solely as an intermediary between the client and the different service providers (hotels, operators, airlines, and others). Therefore, the cancellation policies established in our Terms and Conditions shall apply, and:

  • AOTG/COTG does not guarantee full reimbursement of amounts paid;
  • will seek to maximize the recovery of contracted services;
  • will apply each supplier’s cancellation and modification policies.

Alternatives
Depending on the specific case, the following may be offered:

  • rescheduling without penalty
  • issuance of travel credits for future use
  • partial refunds, where permitted by suppliers

Procedure

The client must:

  • notify the impossibility of traveling immediately;
  • provide sufficient supporting documentation;
  • allow the agency to assess the case.

Recommendation

AOTG strongly recommends purchasing trip cancellation and/or interruption insurance in order to cover any non-recoverable expenses.

Argentina On The Go advises their clients that it is their responsibility to possess a valid passport for the duration of their trip, appropriate visa requirements for every country they will visit and all necessary vaccinations. Argentina On The Go can supply information to the client in this regard but accepts no responsibility for lack of any of the above items on the part of the client.

Unaccompanied minors under the age of 18 will not be granted a booking. Persons over the age of 60 may be required to present medical evidence of fitness to travel on certain itineraries. Clients should make sure that their health and fitness is in line with the requirements of their chosen itinerary before booking. Agents of Argentina On The Go (guides etc.) are the authoritative parties while on the tour and if any client is deemed by these authoritative parties to pose a threat to the safe, comfortable or happy progress of a tour, the client may be asked to refrain from taking part in some or all of the remaining tour. Anyone suffering from illness or disability must inform Argentina On The Go of the condition at the time of booking or will be deemed to be in breach of these booking conditions. If part of the tour contains a boat excursion, the client must advise Argentina On The Go if they are unable to swim.

If a client wishes to make a complaint, they should do so to the agent of Argentina On The Go at the time of the issue arising. If the situation remains unresolved, a complaint must be made in writing to Argentina On The Go within 28 days of the completion of the trip.

Argentina On The Go accepts responsibility for ensuring that the holiday which the Client books with them is supplied as described in the final version of the travel program the Client will receive upon arrival and the services reach a reasonable standard. Argentina On The Go acts only in the capacity of an agent upon the legal conditions that, while exercising every possible precaution, it is not responsible for injury, sickness, damage, loss, additional expenses, accidental delay, or other irregularities which may be caused either through willful or negligent acts or omissions made by the companies or individuals providing or engaged in transportation, accommodation or other services related to the accomplishment of the tour, or through natural disasters, social upheavals or any other causes considered as force majeure.
